Oooh! I love this idea? Where is the bottom picture from. We are doing a receiving line (well just the groom and I) as people leave the church. Our reception is about 20 minutes away and I feel like we will have people attend the wedding and not the reception. Also, I want to enjoy the reception and not have to worry about making sure I saw everyone. My question is, when would I do this? When we leave the reception? Just wondering! Thanks for the cute idea!
Did you see this on the Knot? They have a diy for it on the bio list. I've never been to a wedding where they used them though. I think they're cute, but I wonder how they'd look at night-in pictures?
We're having two exits---greedy greedy, huh? I want one as we exit the church, so folks will get on to the reception so we can make a fake get away and come back for pics, and one at night as we leave the reception. I've been to a few dead weddings where I really wanted to leave a little early, but felt like I should wait for the send off. I figured this is a way that we can let the old folks off the hook. Plus, I can find two fun things to throw, wave, light, etc!
That is a cute idea! I got married the day after Christmas...we had bells tied on ribbons with a card attached that said' "Jingle the bell, to wish us well!" Many of our guest keep them to hang on their tree. Nine years later people still have them!
I think I got the pics from The Knot or Wedding Channel. I constantly look for pics and then save them and can't remember where. I too was worried they would not show up at night in pictures. I think they would be better for a day wedding.

Love these! I've never seen this idea before, so it would definitely be unique and memorable. Plus, I bet they would look so pretty in the photos.
