I Scream, You Scream, We all Scream for an Ice Cream Party!

A friend of mine recently helped host a bridal shower for a friend and they did an Ice Cream Sundae Shower! Here are a few pictures. This is a great idea for a birthday party, bridal or baby shower, etc AND it is budget friendly AND pretty easy!

If you want to have your own Ice Cream party here are a few ideas:

You could give the guest of honor these precious bowls with matching spoons from Ann Margaret's SpecialTea Shoppe.

OR~

These colorful ice cream bowls from Sur la Table would make a great hostess gift. Especially if they were paired with...

This monogrammed ice cream scoop from The Palm Gifts would be a great hostess gift for the guest of honor to remember the special day.

Don't forget a cute invitation...

You could get these preppy Cross My Heart Invitations via Paper Buzz

You could get these invitations from Paper Menu via The Paper Cafe.
Or these Cross My Heart invitations via My Gatsby

For a baby shower this one would be perfect! (It's from My Gatsby and done by Inviting Company)

That is just the cutest idea for a party. Ok I am one of the few people that am not a big ice cream fan but I think it is cute just the same.

We did an ice cream sundae baby shower for a friend last year. It was a great idea. So easy.....we all pitched in on the toppings or brownies or ice cream and it was a lot of fun!

P.S. I got that EXACT same crazy comment a few weeks ago. I deleted it and didn't worry about it but it sure is crazy!

Thank you so much for sharing my site with your readers! That was such a "tealightful" thing for you to do, and I really appreciate it. I have been out of town, then, had a 2 day show to get ready for, and am now planning my first home boutique show/open house (at our home) so I have been behind with visiting some of my favorite blogs...like yours! What a great surprise this morning to see my shoppe mentioned! Wish you lived closer so you could drop by for "scones and tea" at my open house...you would find lots of "southern hospitality" here! Thanks again; I truly appreciate it!
