I love this chair and ottoman, but the fabric I originally wanted it in isn't available anymore.
I could get it in this fabric (but chair above.) Close up of fabric.
Or, this one...
Or, this fabric
I really like this chair (see below), but does it go with my new sofa? Let me know what you think. If you have any other ideas, I would love to see some links (I am on a budget though so don't get me too excited if it is too $$$). My husband thinks this chair looks too slipcovery (is that an adj?)
Let me know if you have seen anything else that would look good!

I really like the last chair you posted. I love the shape and I think the fabric is pretty.
That's so funny! I liked the first chair actually. We aren't helping at all are we! :)
And the green fabric was really nice, especially if you love that color. Tough decision though! Good luck!
I prefer the first chair too.
Really loved the second fabric swatch. Maybe I'm confused though... you're not keeping the navy chair in there are you? If so, you might want to go in a different direction with the colors for the new chair?
Have fun!
Just reread your post to clarify... (Always good to practice what I preach to my students all the time...)
I still love the first chair, but think the fabric on the second chair would tie the other elements together better.
We are keeping the blue chair for now (we're still young newlyweds on a budget), but I don't want to make all my decisions based on the blue chair b/c it won't be with me forever. We are in a 1 bd rm apartment so everything is not how I want it, but I really just need something that will blend everything for now and for later. Certainly open to other color options you think would be better...
I quite like the first chair and ottoman, and I think all three of the fabrics are lovely though I'm particularly fond of the first one.
Glad you're home, I hope nurse Daisy is taking good care of you. :)
I LOVE the first chair and am actually looking at that one for our bedroom, but am nervous to purchase something without sitting in it. I think it is a great choice though. Very classic! Good luck!
My vote is for the first chair (green fabric). I agree with your hubby about the slipcovered look for the last. Ahhhhh choices!!!
I like the first fabric with green stripes the best. But,I really like the last chair (the slipcovery one), because to me that would be the ideal chair to read in. But,it really depends on what mood you want (i.e. cottagy or city chic). Have we confused you more?
Hello MMM! I hope you are feeling better! I absolutely love the first chair with the ottoman. Your couch is very tailored (skirted). I think because your sofa is so neutral, you definately need a fun chair to make it pop. The last chair is too casual for your sofa. The first chair will go better. I think it is always important to incorporate a fun print(damask, toile, floral), a plaid/houndstooth/stripe, with a solid. Basically your sofa is your solid with the solid pillows that came with it. I like the green fabric with the black accents but then I feel you need to incorporate black in the mix. It doesn't seem that prominent but you might want to find a fabric that has green and brown in it instead. Another idea: If you love the green stripe fabric, which I do love, then incorporate throw pillows with a print that incorporate these colors in the mix. The black stripes might not even be prominent enough to tell. In that case stick with that fabric. Because you have that navy blue leather chair. I really think you should place a fun throw pillow on that chair that has been repeated from your fabric selection. For instance, place a throw pillow from your couch on the chair. Get extra fabric from the new chair and add 1 pillow to the sofa and another to the navy blue chair. Pick one more fabric that incorporates all of these colors (not a stripe/plaid/or houndstooth, needs to be a print) and place one pillow on the new chair and another in the same fabric on the sofa. Sorry this sounds confusing. It is a lot easier when you are at the client's home or at the fabric store. The bottom line is repeat your fabric. This way it all fits. The navy blue leather chair will fit in great just by incorporating a pillow that you have also placed on the sofa. Make sure to pick fun trim. Place some pillows in cording and one with colorful tassels for a sophisticated but fun look. Make sure you love your chair fabric because it gets pricey to recover a chair. It is a lot more cost effective to change out throw pillows. Have fun! I am sure your apartment is going to look beautiful! Can't wait to see pictures.
I like the first one and the last one!
