In honor of my Mom's 60th Birthday I would like to tell you why MY Mom is the best.
~She is a wonderful friend, confidant and mother
~She is a wonderful friend, confidant and mother
~She helped me plan the most beautiful wedding ever.
~She demanded I have engraved Crane wedding invitations. (Well, okay pull my leg!)
~She encourages me when I need it.
~She answers the phone every afternoon when I need to talk.
~She flew to NYC and DROVE our car back to the South.
~She sends Daisy random treats in the mail.
~She picks up and organizes (and Dad pays) for all of Mardis Gras throws each year
~She used to send me letters two weeks before my week long camp started so I had a letter everyday.

~She left me notes in my lunch box
~She drove me to all my activities (and my brother and my sister)
~She monogrammed all my clothes when I was little and put pretty bows in my hair
~She gives me a shoulder to cry on whenever I need it
~She tells me to suck it up when I need it
~She packed me up and helped me move EVERY year in college
~She never misses a holiday without a special treat
~She makes my favorite foods when I come home
~She is the first person I wanted to call when I found out I was pregnant
~She always takes me to get a mani/pedi when I'm home
I could go on and on all day about my Mom, but I'll stop here and just say she really is the best. If I can be 1/2 of the Mother that she was to me then I'll have succeeded. I'm so excited that her first grandbaby will be here in just six months and I know this time next year we'll be at the beach celebrating with the whole crew. I love you Mom. I wish I could be there today, but I hope you enjoy your birthday treats.
Happy 60th! Cheers to many, many more.
Love,
Your Little Girl
