I'm hoping we are done with the snow in NYC (even though we really didn't get that much this year). Here are some pictures of my first winter in the city.
Right before work one day...
Can you tell what this is? I'll let you guess.
A walk in the park after work
Daisy loves to smell the snow. She just can't figure out what it is.

Glad you survived the first winter, although you're right, we had a very easy one. Get ready for spring, NYC is a great place for it, everyone is so excited for summer, there are a billion outdoor restaurants, and everyone is always dying to be outside. Of course by mid June they're all whining about the head but for a short bit, everyone is happy with the flowers and warm air.
I totally agree with Suz. One thing that I was really looking forward to coming back home from Japan was the Spring - there is nothing like walking in Central Park on a warm spring day with your prettiest skirt and shoes (yes, a girl can dream) or just sitting at Madison Square park on a bench and enjoying the site of the gorgeous fountain. This year I am looking forward to cycling on the weekends in Central Park.
Did you get the chance to see the Macy's Flower Show? For me, that is always a sign that spring is here in NYC.
I know adjusting to the cold can be hard. I grew up in Texas but married a Naval officer, so I've had to endure winters in MO, IL, DC, and VA. Luckily we're in FL now, so it's just about perfect! All the best to you!
Thank goodness winter is over (fingers crossed). Spring in NYC is amazing! I try to get up there a few times throughout the spring/summer to visit my sister and BFF. It's such a great city! ENJOY IT!
