The Preppy Christmas Tree Skirt

I went on a quest to find the perfect affordable Preppy Christmas Tree Skirt. Hmmm. I found a few good options here, but my final conclusion is that I'm going into the Preppy Christmas Tree Skirt business. Where oh where is a pink and green polka dot skirt when you need one? (Not that my husband would approve, in fact the ONLY one he approved of was Macy's Holiday Lane Striped Tree Skirt. Which is pretty cute, but I probably shouldn't have asked. Ha, Ha!) Which ones do y'all like? Have any others that I missed?

Very cute - but I think I like the ric rac skirt the best.

Great skirt finds. I need a new one but I think I'll wait until after Christmas - Mine can make it one more year.

It looks like you found some great ones! My favorites are the red and white polka dots and the velvet Pottery Barn one.

I found a beautiful one at Kohl's for $120 and almost bought it until I found one that was 99% identical for 20 bucks at Walmart of all places. But as to the ones you have listed, the Candy cane striped one is my pick.

The personalized Pottery Barn skirt is classic but I absolutely love the red and white snowflake skirt- does it have white feather trim? I love things that twinkle in the glow of the Christmas lights when all of the other lights are off in the house...I think the red and white one would do that.

Thanks MMM! I knew I could count on you to find cute, preppy tree skirts. I love the red rick rack skirt with the monogram. The polka dot one is cute too.
Thanks so much!

I bought a Hable Construction tree skirt last year from garnet Hill. I was really very lucky because it was on sale from about 120 down to 20.00. It is cute. I was just so sick of the one that my husband and I had. I had actually made it for our first Christmas and it was just something I guess I never really cared much for.
Of the ones that you have pictured I would state that the one with the ric rac or the one with the starlight (red background with snowflakes).

I am completely biased because I have the red velvet Pottery Barn tree skirt and stockings, but I do love the red and white polka dot tree skirt. It is so cute!

Thanks for posting this. I want to replace our skirt and I love the Martha ric rac skirt.

(I'll be waiting until after Christmas when it goes on sale!!)

I had to say the polka dot until I saw the Holiday Lane Stripe Skirt for $37.76 from Macys!!!

I know what you mean about a preppy tree skirt. At one point I even started buying Lilly Pulitzer scraps in case I found someone who could sew them for me. :-)

Everytime I'd look at one, I would think, "Okay, this is the one that I like!"

They're all great but I can't resist anything monogrammed. The mittens one is really adorable, too.

I love the polka dot one! We have that green and red velvet one from PB (the red w/ green border) - except ours in not quilted. And it has our name on it - LOVE it. We have two PB skirts and I love theirs b/c they're a lot bigger than most others I've seen/had. I highly recommend!

I ended up with the Holiday Lane skirt. We had credit at Macy's from the wedding and out of all the choices that is the one my husband picked! It is SO cute in person. It has ribbon trim and the color is perfect. =)
