1. That Baby U continues to grow and be a strong, healthy boy!

4. That this week will fly by---I'm getting on a plane to go home on Wednesday at 8am! I get to see my parents first then my Mom and I are driving up for my baby shower and the Bama game. I am so excited that I can't stand it!

4. I want to be a SAHM and it looks like my wish is going to come true! =)

1. I hate pickles, but I love cucumbers. Now that I'm pregnant I love half sour pickles.

2. I only will drink milk out of a real glass. I'm not a huge milk drinker--but now that I'm pregnant I can't get enough.

3. In high school I won a beauty pageant. Five of us were selected to wear antebellum dresses (think Scarlett O'Hara--complete with pantaloons, hoop skirt, 3 layers of ruffles and full ruffle hat) and go to festivals and special events. I met the Prince of Monaco and a lot of politicians that year! I was the pink girl and it was a blast!

4. I was a camp counselor in college at the same camp I went to when I was younger. I LOVE camp!

5. I only own two bras that fits me right now! Thank goodness for woollite!

6. I don't wear heels anymore. I used to wear them everyday, but they are just not practical for walking in the city. I just can't do it. I have a very nice collection of flats now!

7. I don't wear headbands or baseball hats. They look funny on me.

I don't have a car in the city.

2. When was the last time you threw up?
I think it has been two weeks now!! Yeah for zofran!! However, that does not count hanging my head over the toilet 3 times yesterday--the nausea still isn't quite gone.

I shouldn't have a fav, but I tend to use them all--many New Yorkers deserve for me to use them all on them. So un-lady like!

No drive thru's in the city---and we don't really live by any fast food places so I don't go anymore. But, I used to drive thru except when I'm with A--he has to sit down.

I have a golden retriever, Daisy who got told by the vet yesterday that she needed light dog food b/c she's gained about 10 lbs since moving to the city. Oops. =)

My sister. She called to tell me she got punched in the eye last night at a bar. Two frat guys at Alabama got in a bar fight and one swung as she was walking by! She got free shots for the rest of the night and now has a small black eye. Oh college days!

Yes. Most recently--Carson Daly was in line behind me at the Yankee's game.

Work and then work on packing.

38. Worst injury you've ever had? i have never broken anything and only had stitches once on my finger--my mom closed it in the car door when I was 4 (I had unbuckled myself out of my car seat and reached down on the floorboard to get my purse that I had dropped. Ouch.
39. Do you love where you live? Depends on the day, but overall I would rather be in the South--but I love my husband and I'll be where he needs me to be =)

Eight Bizarre/Random/Habits meme

I've been tagged on this one a few times and have finally come up with a few things for you!

Eight Bizarre/Random/Habits meme:

1. I can't go outside without my sunglasses. I have brown eyes, but they are SO sensitive.

2. I can't sleep without my down pillow. I travel with it at all times. I even brought it on my honeymoon.

3. I don't like to eat the same meal twice (except leftovers from Thanksgiving and Christmas.)

4. I normally don't drink while I eat.

5. I also can't sleep without a blanket...even when it is hot. I can't sleep with just a sheet or even no sheet...I know...strange...

6. I hate pickles, but I love cucumbers.

7. I don't drink milk very often, but when I do I only like to drink it out of a glass. I don't like to drink it out of a plastic glass. Not sure where I got that one from...I'm sounding stranger with every sentence I write. =)

8. I get a glass of water every night before I go to bed, but I only drink about 3 sips.

3. What would you change about your living room? I wish it were bigger! I also still need a new upholstered chair to go with my new linen sofa and I am having the worst time finding one. The sooner the better so I can get rid of my husband's nasty goodwill chair!

4. Are the dishes in your dishwasher clean or dirty? They are dirty b/c it is not full yet.

5. What is in your fridge? our brita, seltzer water, milk, Crystal Light Pink Lemonade, Diet Coke, several different kinds of cheese, eggs, bread, a door full of condiments,yogurt, pickles, cool whip, tortilla shells, olives...I need to go shopping!

7. What is on top of your refrigerator? A basket with bread products and then a nice bottle of champagne we got as a wedding gift and an unopened bottle of Johnny Walker Blue that my boss gave me after his last meeting

8. What color or design is on your shower curtain? White waffle. I would love to get it monogrammed.

9. How many plants are in your home? I had a mum, but I killed it. I always kill plants. We did not pack any plants for our move so we don't have any now, but that is probably for the best. My husband does bring me fresh flowers quite often from the street vendors.

10. Is your bed made right now? Nope

11. Comet or Soft Scrub? Comet

12. Is your closet organized? Yes, I worked on it yesterday! It is very full though...city living!

13. Can you describe your flashlight? I saw them yesterday when I was cleaning. One is yellow and one is black.

14. Do you drink out of glass or plastic most of the time at home? Plastic, monogrammed and Alabama tervis tumblers mostly unless they are all dirty, then I move on to the glass

15. Do you have iced tea made in a pitcher right now? No, but that sounds really yummy. We just have crystal light and our brita.

16. If you have a garage, is it cluttered? No garage in the city!

17. Curtains or blinds? Blinds. I'm thinking I need curtains, but that is way down the list since this is an apartment. I guess if I did panels we could move them and they would work in our future house.

18. How many pillows do you sleep with? 2 (a really soft one and a semi soft one behind it)

19. Do you sleep with any lights on at night? No, just the glow from the city

20. How often do you vacuum? My husband vacuumed yesterday because Daisy is shedding EVERYWHERE! Normally we do it once a week, but this week we are going to have to do it more if we don't want to live in her fur. I think her first real winter coat is coming in.

21. Standard toothbrush or electric? Standard but I'd like to try an electric.

22. What color is your toothbrush? Yellow and my husband's new one is hot pink...but he swears it is red.

23. Do you have a welcome mat on your front porch? No, we can't have a welcome mat in our apartment and we don't have a front porch. We had really cute ones for every season at my old house. My favorite was flip flops...but Daisy ate it when she was a puppy.

24. What is in your oven right now? Nothing.

25. Is there anything under your bed? Under the bed storage boxes with who knows what. One is filled with wires. Yes, my husband has a whole box of wires that he finds very useful.

26. Chore you hate doing the most? Ironing and dusting. We have more dust in NYC then I've ever seen in my life!

27. What retro items are in your home? None that I can think of...maybe my husband's goodwill chair that I hate

28. Do you have a separate room that you use as an office? I wish. We have a desk in our bedroom that my we bought in case my husband has to do work at home.

29. How many mirrors are in your home? Two. I really need a full length mirror. That has been on the "I need" list since we moved. But, carrying a full length mirror down the street is easier said then done.

30. Do you have any hidden emergency money around your home? No. Just some change on the front chest.

31. What color are your walls?
Off white/Eggshell...no use in painting a rental in my opinion b/c you either have to pay to paint it back or paint it back yourself. In my old house I had coca walls in the living room and kitchen, light green in my bedroom, a mossy green in the dining room, yellow in my bathroom and my roommates room and khaki in my other roommates room.

32. Do you keep any kind of protection weapons in your home?No, I think my doorman is good enough.

33. What does your home smell like right now? Not sure

34. Favorite candle scent?
Right now we are loving our pumpkin spice candle. I just got a cranberry/orange.

35. What kind of pickles (if any) are in your refrigerator right now?
Kosher Dill Garlic. I don't like pickles but I bought them for my husband and he hasn't eaten them yet.

36. What color is your favorite Bible? The one we have is white.

37. Ever been on your roof? Yes, we have a rooftop deck with a great view of the river and the city.

38. Do you own a stereo? No, not anymore.

39. How many TVs do you have? One plasma in the living room and our computer in the bedroom on the desk is also a tv....city space saving techniques!

41. Do you have a housekeeper? No, but I need one with all this dog hair!

Comfortable, preppy/classic, pottery barn style

I like both but have mostly solid

Photos, wedding album, pearl necklace from my grandmother. But only AFTER I made sure my husband and Daisy were safely out of the house.

2. How long have you been married?.......Almost 4 months!

3. How long dated?...... 1.5 years - then engaged for almost 10 months (we'll have been together 3 years the beginning of March)

4. Who is older you or your man?...... He is 17 months older than me

5. Who eats more? ..... We both eat a lot!

6. Who said "I love you" first? ...... He did, and I didn't hear him. I know?? How do you not hear someone? He said it on a trip to Sonoma and Napa Valley and he thought I heard him and just didn't say anything. I HONESTLY missed this! Too much wine I think! Then, a few months later, I was tipsy and said it to him and thought I said it first and he was like...I told you I loved you a month ago in Napa and you didn't say anything back. It was funny and just fabulous to be in LOVE! =)

7. Who is taller?...... He is.

8. Who sings better?...... I do, but he can belt out a few songs! =)

9. Who is smarter? .......He knows the numbers and I am more creative. We balance each other. But, he's more book smart then me. Ok...he's just smarter and I'm lucky to be married to such a smart guy! =)

10. Whose temper is worse?......We both have tempers.

11. Who does the laundry?...... I do. Although, he'll throw a load in every once in awhile.

12. Who takes out the garbage?......We just have to walk it across the hall to the garbage shoot and I think I take it more than he does because I'm home more than he is.

13. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed?..... He does.

14. Who pays the bills?......We're still working on that. I was used to paying all the bills for my roommates and he likes to wait until the last minute to pay them which drives me crazy. I think we're all set up with auto draft now...out of his account. =)

15. Who is better with the computer?...... Definitely him. He's good at all technical stuff, but I'm not too bad myself.

16. Who mows the lawn?..... Well Jeffery Scott my alcoholic yard man (he cuts the grass at all times of the day with a beer in his hand). My hubby tried once, only to have to go get Jeffery Scott (his parent's yard man) to help clean things up. My monkey grass got a BUZZ cut. Now we don't have grass and I really miss it.

17. Who cooks dinner?..... Several chefs around the neighborhood or me. They only time we eat dinner together is on the weekends, he works late every night with his new job. When we do cook, he likes to broil the meat (we don't have a grill anymore so he has mastered broiling which is really amazing if you do it right.)

18. Who drives when you are together?...... He does and I complain a lot. He goes really fast around curves and he tailgates people and double pumps the breaks which gives me a nice headache. We don't have a car anymore, but we rented one last week and all of these things came right back only WORSE b/c we were in city traffic. I have to remind him that just b/c the taxi drivers drive insane does not mean he has too. Hmm. I'm secretly glad he drives though because it is nice to have him take charge and for me to not have to worry about it. I'm scared to drive in NYC! Have you ever seen those cabbies stay in a lane?

19. Who pays when you go out?.....It doesn't matter anymore because we're married! It's all in the same pot. He normally takes the check though because I am bad with numbers and hate doing the tip.

20. Who is most stubborn?...... Well, let's just say we're both never (cough) wrong.

21. Who is the first to admit when they are wrong?...... We are both working on this. But, I think he is better at this.

22. Whose parents do you see the most?...... We've seen my Mom once since we moved up here and I went home once. We used to see his parents more because they lived in the same town. I miss them all and wish they weren't so far away.

23. Who kissed who first?....... He kissed me first and it was fabulous.

24. Who asked who out?...... We were set up on a blind date by my old boss and he called me. When we got there he ended up going to dinner with his friends because he thought we were just supposed to "meet." He asked me to meet him at the bar after he went to dinner with his friends. I politely declined and cussed my boss for the rest of the night. After his dinner, he called and told me which bar he was going to and I told him to have fun. I drank a bottle of wine with my roommates and some of our other friends decided (with out us knowing) to go to a different bar....the bar where he was! I had to call him back (thank goodness for the wine mentioned above) and told him we were actually coming to the bar he was at after all. Once I got there we talked for the rest of the night and the rest is history...although I did learn before the wedding that he had left the bar and when I called him back saying we were coming, he drove back to the bar to see me. Awwwwwwwwwwwwwe....

25. Who proposed?..... He did. You know the story. It was wonderful. One of the best days of my life besides the actual wedding.

26. Who is more sensitive?....... Oh me, definitely. I cry to release stress.

27. Who has more friends?...... We both have a lot of amazing friends which is why our wedding party was so big and our wedding in general. In NYC, he had more friends to begin with...but I'm catching up!

28.Who has more siblings?...... We both have one brother and one sister.

29. Who wears the pants in the family?...... He thinks he does. But I'm secretly running the show. Shhhh.... ;-)
