J. McLaughlin Giveaway

J. McLaughlin has been a longtime leader in all things preppy. They opened their first store over 30 years ago and are still going strong! Their retail stores can be found in 16 states and DC and their online site is easy to navigate.

Here are a few of my current favorites on their website. They have me wishing for budding tulips on Park Avenue and boat drinks at the beach!

To celebrate the beginning of spring, I'm teaming up with J. McLaughlin to give one very lucky MMM reader an adorable bamboo clutch in natural. (It retails for $150.00!!) Just think how cute you will look toting this clutch with your white jeans and blue and white stripe top! What outfit DOESN'T this clutch go with?

Here are the rules:

1) Go to the J. McLaughlin's website and pick your favorite new arrival

2) Come back here and post your favorite item in the comment section.

For additional entries (and please remember to post each of these in a SEPARATE comment or the random number generator won't count it):

1) Become a follower of my blog or let me know you are already a follower in a separate comment

2) Blog about this contest or add it to your sidebar and let me know you did in a separate comment.

3) "Like" J. McLaughlin on facebook. Follow this link. Let me know you like them in a separate comment.

4) Tweet about this contest to @MrsMMMBlogger and @JMcLaughlinNY and let me know you did so in a separate comment.

5) Join their Mailing List by clicking here (enter info at top of page) and let me know you did so in a separate comment.

That is a potential for FIVE additional entries!! Good luck ladies! The random number generator will pick a lucky winner on March 17th!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Have you entered my monogrammed wipes case giveaway yet? Go to this post and follow the directions to enter! You have a few days left!

***************************************************************************

Did you have a good St. Patrick's Day? Here are a few pictures from our St. Pat's Day last year. Daisy dressed up in her scarf, my little sister was in town and we went to the St. Patrick's Day parade. Look at my little lephracan in his green. His shirt said "Wee Bit Irish." He actually is a wee bit Irish. My grandmother was a 3rd (help me out here Mom) generation Irish immigrant.

This year, Mommy woke up with a bit of a headache. I went out with a couple Mommy friends last night to this wonderful restaurant. I HIGHLY reccomend it! We celebrated for a mere 5.5 hours and all our husbands wondered if we would ever return. It was so much fun!

After J's nap we headed over to our very first swim lesson. I grew up as a swimmer. I was on the Country Club league at our club in Atlanta from age 5-13 (or whatever age they kick you off.)  I've always loved to swim and was lifeguard certified all through high school and college. I even taught swim lessons to kids out of my parent's back yard pool in the summers, so I was SO EXCITED to introduce my baby to swimming. He wasn't a fan of floating on his back, but he loved blowing bubbles and being on his tummy. I'm looking forward to many more classes and teaching him to love the water as much as I do.

Picked out your favorite Shrimp and Grits outfit yet? There is still time to order from me. See my post here and email me at magnoliasmarriageandmanhattan@gmail.com with your order! Here are a few more of their cute outfits to consider. I ordered Baby J those smocked crab swim trunks! Aren't they adorable! =)

My First Ebay Sales

I've bought plenty of items on Ebay, but this is my first attempt to sell a few items to make some room in my closet. (And this will also enable me to buy more baby clothes for Baby J.) Over the next few weeks, I'll be selling things that don't fit me anymore (or never did), maternity clothes, baby clothes that I won't be saving and whatever else I can find to help make some more room in our closets! I would love to do business with my readers so here is the link to the things I'm selling. Feel free to ask me questions. Happy Shopping!

See below for the first few links that include some Haviannas, BCBG Girls, JCrew Flats and Flip Flops and Anne Klein heels. I'll continue to update y'all as I list things.

Baby Shower Dress Options

A group of my friends from the South are throwing me a shower back "home." Now for the perfect dress. Should I wear the one I already have (I'm not sure it will still fit in a few weeks though--I'm already running out of "wrap") or go for a special new number? After the shower we are planning to try to make it to the Alabama Homecoming game so that is why there are a lot of crimson options here. I have to admit, I'm not very impressed with the selection of cute fall maternity dresses. Have any of you preggo preps seen anything better? I think the 1st two are my favorite.

T-Bags Maternity dress from Neiman Marcus for $118.00.
