Roll Tide Shoes!

A good friend of mine sent me a picture of these Roll Tide Shoes from Ann Taylor Loft.(Houndstooth is sacred to Alabama because Bear Bryant always wore a houndstooth hat, in case you were wondering.) Anyways, I had to have them and they just came today. Thought I would share them with all of you Bama fans and figured a few of you might just think they were the perfect fall flat! Want to know what else makes them perfect...they are only $39.00! I ordered a 9 and they are a little big, so I might have to exchange them...but they are oh so cute and I want to wear them this weekend to the Alabama bar in NYC!

The MacBeth Collection

How much fun are these tubs from The MacBeth Collection. Reader Pink Poppy tipped me off on their website when I was looking for a cute tub/bucket to put Daisy's toys in. Of course, while checking out their site I found a few other things I wanted to share with y'all!

Ok, now let's get down to business. I want a tub for Daisy's toys. These are my favorite prints (my husband said no pink and green polka dots...damn!)

Print choices:

Old New York (would be kinda art and dog toy holder)
Well...it is for my puppy....
More New York...
Classic Green Patterns maybe?
Or, click here for every option.

Ok, now which size:

You can buy these great pieces on the MacBeth Collection website. Or, if you want tubs for little ones, try one of my favorite kid websits, Layla Grace who carries the collection as well. Let me know what you get and which one you think I should get!

Daisy Update

For those of you that have asked me about Daisy, just a quick update. She is doing great! She has adjusted to the city very well. We got our pottery barn sisal rug in last week and here are a few pics of her enjoying it! She was boarded for the first time this weekend because my husband went to the Bama game while I was in the Keys. She did great! I'm going to miss her when I go back to work next week, but we found a dog walker and I think she'll do just fine. She got a new LL Bean Dog bed and here is anothe pic of her enjoying that.

Blue Shoes and Cocktails

Hi friends! I hope everyone had a wonderful Labor Day break. We had a great time at my friends bachelorette party in the Keys! We went to a drag queen show is Key West (hilarious), a clothing optional bar (we behaved) and dinner here one night. We went out on the boat, got some sun and lots of girl talk and even went snorkeling out on a reef where we saw a few sea turtles, rays, lots of pretty fish, 4 Nurse sharks and a BULL shark. Scared the daylights out of me!
My friend is getting married the beginning of December and she wants her "something blue" to be blue shoes. Does anyone have any suggestions of designer blue shoes that would be perfect for this special occasion?

Also, her colors are white, green and gold and she is from the New Orleans/Baton Rouge area. She is looking for a great specialty cocktail to serve at the beginning of her reception. Her reception site will not allow anything red and she wants to stay away from anything too Christmas themed. Does anyone have any suggestions for her?
